Vegan caramels

A friend of mine recently posted a recipe for soft caramels on her blog, and right away I knew that I wanted to make some vegan ones, and so.. with a little swap of some of her ingredients, tadaa!


  • 500 g soybased cream (make sure its the baking appropriate-kind)
  • 250 g plantbased margarine
  • 6 dl sugar (you can mix in some coconut sugar here for more flavor)
  • 2,5 dl maple syrup
  • 3 tbsp vanilla powder
  • 3 tsp salt

(Tip: do go for the baking sheet instead of buttering up your mold, I wish I had xD)
